You are not here by accident

There are no mere coincidences in life.  You are reading this because there is something you need to know:  There is a God who loves you, and He wants you to come back to Him.  He wants you to be with Him in heaven having perfect and complete joy in Him forever.  There is just one big problem…

Your sin

God says that every person that has ever lived has sinned against Him, and our sin separates us from Him.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

God created us to have a relationship with Him.  He gave us life.  But God has also given us the freedom to rebel against Him.  We have all chosen to disobey God and embrace our own sinful desires.

The result

The result of our sin is eternal death and separation from God.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

For you to come to God you have to get rid of your sin problem.  But God says that you can’t make yourself right with Him by being a better person.  For you to come to God, your sin must be paid for.

God “..desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4

So God provided a way

God’s gift to you is His Son, Jesus, who paid the debt for you.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

It’s God’s grace that allows you to come to Him – not your efforts to
“clean up your life” or work your way to Heaven.  You cannot earn it.
It is a free gift.

“He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but
according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal
of the Holy Spirit.” Titus 3:5

“For by grace you have been saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Jesus paid the price for your sin and mine by giving His life on the cross.  He took the wrath of the Father that was meant for us.  Our debt was too great for us to pay, so Jesus paid it for us.  He rose from the dead and paved the way for you to have an intimate relationship with God forever.  All that’s left for you to do is to receive the gift that Jesus is holding out for you right now.  God says that if you believe in His resurrected Son, Jesus, you can live forever with Him in glory.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“..If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved; For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

A chance to respond

Do you sense God calling you to receive the gift of eternal life that Jesus offers right now?  If it is your sincere desire to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, then you must repent of your sins, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord today. Then, speak to God with sincerity by praying a prayer like the one below.  It is not the prayer that saves you, but God saves you by grace through genuine faith in Jesus Christ.  This is a faith that must be cultivated and nourished from this point on.  If you have any further questions please contact us.

“God, I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin and I repent of it now.  Lord Jesus, I believe You died on the cross and resurrected from the grave to pay the debt of my sin and purchase for me eternal life with You in Heaven.  Father, forgive my sins and save me.  I want to live my life for you from this day forth.  Come and be my Lord, my King, and my Savior.  I thank you for drawing me to Yourself.  By Your grace I surrender my life to You today.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
